Designing an Organizational Communication Model Based on Ethical-Oriented Organizational Culture

Background: Banks, especially public banks, is one of the most important organizations in the field of development, service delivery and development in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Therefore, the present study was formed with the aim of designing an organizational communication model based on ethical culture in the government sector (state-owned banks).
Method: The present study in terms of inductive approach, in terms of purpose, is applied in terms of qualitative methodology and its strategy is based on data theory. The statistical population included managers of state-owned banks, elites in the field of organizational communications of state-owned banks, and individuals who knew the structure of these banks. Among them, 15 people were selected as the sample by purposive sampling method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and finally analyzed by triple coding method.
Results: In the open coding stage, 460 primary open codes were extracted from the interview content. After reviewing the data and integrating similar concepts, these primary codes were reduced to 120 secondary codes and finally 18 categories were identified by selective coding. The organizational communication model was formed based on ethical-oriented organizational culture.
Conclusion: Organizational communication is very much influenced by the culture of the organization and the more ethical communication and cultural strategy in the organization, the more organizational processes in the field of human resources, especially banks, will be more optimal.
