The Role of Ethics in Dynamic Knowledge Management in Iranian Public Organizations

Background: Ethics is an important subject in science and it is of great importance to pay attention to this matter to achieve scientific prosperity, industrial progress and social welfare. This research was done with the aim of designing and explaining the dynamic knowledge management model in public organizations with regard to the role of ethics in this field.
Method: This research was applied, exploratory and had a mixed approach. In the qualitative phase of the research, the community included university professors, senior managers of the Zanjan Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, and 11 of them were selected as a sample using the theoretical sampling method. The main tool of data collection was in-depth and unstructured interviews. The data obtained from the interview were analyzed based on the theme analysis method, and Atlas. TI software was used in this process. In the quantitative phase, the population included managers and employees of the Zanjan Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, and among them, 217 people were selected as a statistical sample based on random sampling. The instrument was a closed and researcher-made questionnaire, and the structural equation modeling approach with SPSS and Lisrel software was used to perform the analysis.
Results: The research model included fifteen sub-themes in the form of five main themes (including: ethical levers of dynamic knowledge management, intra-organizational factors of dynamic knowledge management, executive levers of dynamic knowledge management, extra-organizational factors of dynamic knowledge management, and expected consequences of management dynamic knowledge) were categorized and the results indicated its suitability.
Conclusion: The results of the research led to the design of a dynamic knowledge management model in government organizations, and the hypothetical relationships of the model were tested and confirmed in a large society. |
