Background: Spirituality in the workplace is one of the important and effective variables on the performance and behavior of staff. Therefore, this study tries to investigate the relationship between dimensions of spirituality in the workplace with organizational health and organizational trust among nurses.
Method: The method of research was correlation-descriptive. Population of the study includes all female nursing staff in the public hospital (Imam Reza). 130 nurses were selected as a statistical sample. Three tools (Standard questionnaires of Spirituality in workplace and Organizational Health and researcher made questionnaire of organizational trust) were used for data collection and the reliability and validity of the tools were also tested. The data analysis was done by structural equation model.
Results: The findings of the study indicated that dimensions of spirituality in the workplace have a positive and significant relationship with organizational trust (standard coefficient 0.68, value t=7.39) and organizational health (standard coefficient 0.79, value t=5.68).
Conclusion: In general, it can be said that the emphasis on spirituality can lead to promote organizational trust and organizational health in the hospitals. Accordingly, the need to pay attention to the dimensions of spirituality in hospitals is felt. |
