Designing a Model for Developing the Ethical Capabilities of Human Resources

Background: One of the most basic principles of establishing a healthy and effective relationship with other people is observance and importance to human moral principles, but in today's world due to complex machine life and extensive communication in the virtual environment and lack of attention to spiritual and human dimensions, many moral principles are not considered among the members of society. The main purpose of this study was to design a model for the development of ethical capabilities of human resources.
Method: The present study was a combination-exploratory study. In the qualitative section, based on the content analysis technique, 15 people were selected from the community of experts and university professors specializing in human resource management by purposive sampling method (snowball) and theoretical saturation criteria. The interview tool was semi-structured and the results were analyzed by coding technique. A small part of the population included senior, middle and operational managers of Bushehr judiciary and 365 people were selected using the available sampling method. The instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire and finally the proposed model was evaluated using the structural equation technique.
Results: In the qualitative part, the coding results indicated 9 main categories, 23 axial categories and 80 open codes. And the results of the quantitative part indicated a good fit of the research model.
Conclusion: Paying attention to the ethical infrastructure of the organization and developing moral and human capabilities leads to strengthening the foundation of the organization, promoting ethics and correcting undesirable behaviors in the organization.
