Analysis of Social Responsibility Components as an Ethical Value in Islamic Azad Universities

Background: Social responsibility is related to the observance of norms, values and norms and ethical principles of society and meeting the goals of the organization. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to extract the variables and indicators of social responsibility in Islamic Azad universities.
Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative approach. The research community is specialists and experts in the cultural-social and moral fields of the Islamic Azad University. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 18 of them using purposive sampling method. The data analysis method was Delphi technique in which data were collected in three consecutive rounds. Data analysis was performed using descriptive indices of mean, standard deviation, Kendall agreement and SPSS software.
Results: The results of this study were the identification of 9 components and 64 indicators in the field of social responsibility. Components: included scientific and educational responsibility, economic responsibility, public responsibility to the community and local communities, legal responsibility, development responsibility, ethical responsibility, environmental responsibility, organizational responsibility, technology responsibility, all of which were rated above average.
Conclusion: Scientific, educational, moral and public responsibility have had more effects on social responsibility than other components. |
