Background: The aim of this study is to study the relationship between quality of life and moral life luck among the citizens of Tabriz city and also to analyze the role of gender and age group variables in this relationship. Method: The present study is an applied post-event study conducted using a survey method. The statistical population included citizens aged 18 and above in Tabriz city, from whom 480 people were selected using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. The standard quality of life questionnaire and the researcher-made questionnaire on moral life luck were used to collect data. The data were analyzed using SPSS software and correlation tests and analysis of variance. Results: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between quality of life and moral life luck; In a way that people with high and average quality of life have more moral life luck than people with low quality of life. Also, the main effect of gender and age group on moral life luck was significant. Conclusion: The findings show that although the realization of moral life depends on individual characteristics, social, economic and cultural conditions and the level of quality of life also play a decisive role in its formation. Accordingly, improving the quality of life by reducing inequalities, strengthening social justice, increasing social capital and expanding opportunities for civic participation can provide the basis for strengthening the moral life luck of citizens.
