Background: One of the values, attitudes, and behaviors that students must observe in their learning and education process so that their academic and human growth path is healthy, fair, and constructive is academic ethics. For this reason, the present study aimed to predict academic ethics based on individual self-efficacy with the mediating role of students' psychological flexibility. Method: The present study was descriptive-correlational in terms of type and nature and applicable in terms of purpose. The statistical population included all non-profit students at Tabran University in the academic year 2025-2026. Using the Morgan table, 330 people were selected as a statistical sample using the convenience sampling method. The research tools for collecting data were the use of standard questionnaires such as Scherer's Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (1982), Golparvar's Academic Ethics (2010), and Dennis and Vanderwaal's Psychological Flexibility (2010).The data analysis method is structural equation modeling using Smart PLS. Results: The findings showed that the research model has a good fit. The findings also showed that personal self-efficacy has a positive and significant relationship with both academic ethics and psychological flexibility variables (p<0.01). Also, a positive and significant relationship was found between psychological flexibility and academic ethics. Finally, with the entry of the psychological flexibility variable into the model, the indirect effect of personal self-efficacy on students' academic ethics became positive and significant. Conclusion: It is suggested that in order to predict students' academic ethics, special attention should be paid to two important and influential variables: individual self-efficacy and psychological flexibility, and appropriate educational workshops should be developed and held.
