Background: Ethics are those innate or acquired traits that are established in a person and affect his good and bad behavior and regulate his relationships with other people, society and the environment. The fundamental question is how to institutionalize ethical behavior in individuals without relying on laws and regulations and at the same time prevent the emergence of unethical behavior. Method: This qualitative study was conducted using a meta-synthesis strategy, seeking to analyze the results of previous research and provide solutions that can help create executive guarantees for ethical behavior in different organizations and societies. In this regard, the terms ethical behavior, motivation, performance guarantee, and assurance were searched in domestic and foreign scientific databases, and after three stages of screening, 20 Persian articles and 12 English articles were included in the analysis process. In this process, ethical guarantee methods were extracted and coded and classified in two stages. Results: In the research process, which included seven stages, all variables affecting ethical guarantee were extracted in the form of 83 codes and classified into three sections: individual, organizational, and supra-organizational. Conclusion: Overall, among individual, organizational, and supra-organizational factors, organizational factors were more important. This means that organizations are more important in creating and maintaining ethical behaviors, and it is appropriate that managers, especially human resources managers, pay special attention to this issue.
