The Role of the Convention on Intellectual Property Rights and Ethical Corruption on Iran's Economic Growth

Background: One of the most important economic goals of countries is to create the conditions necessary to promote sustainable economic growth. The fundamental elimination of corruption, the encouragement of economic growth and property rights in line with the practical motivations of economic growth, will not be possible except with the increasing linkage of economic morality. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between property rights and economic indicators on economic growth.
Method: The research method is applied and correlational. Major indicators of degree of openness, corruption and political risk, index of intellectual property rights, ICT indicator, economic growth, human development index and government expenditure index of Iran have been selected as the statistical population that in the years 2018-2008 As an example, the research was selected. World Bank Data Measurement Tool, Fraser & Heritage Institute and International Transparency Institute. For testing, the ARDL method was used.
Results: The fitting of the research model, which included a major hypothesis, was confirmed. Ethics, economic indicators and property rights have a meaningful relationship with economic growth and during the time the effects of shocks are adjusted.
Conclusion: According to the estimate, it was found that all variables are stable or with a stable difference. Economic growth has a positive and significant relationship with all economic indicators and has a negative and significant relationship with moral corruption, while the long-term relationship has also been confirmed.
