Abstract

Background: Charismatic leaders are celebrated as management champions. Charismatic leaders are high performing leaders who inspire. Charismatics can be very effective leaders, but they may differ in their moral standards. Therefore, the current research has designed and explained the ethical charismatic leadership model.
Method: The approach of the current research was mixed (qualitative-quantitative). In the qualitative part of the statistical population, there were academic experts in the field of marketing and top managers and marketing of companies active in the leather industry, 21 of whom were selected as a sample using targeted sampling. The tool was interview and the data was analyzed with Delphi technique. In the quantitative part of the statistical population of the research, there were sales and marketing managers and experts, as well as representatives and sellers of products of leather manufacturing companies, and the sample size was determined to be 384 people using Cochran's formula, and they were selected by random method. The questionnaire tool was developed by the researcher and the data was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling.
Results: The findings indicate that 5 categories of factors, personality-related components, ethical leadership-related components, organization-related components, organization creation and development strategies play a role in charismatic leadership, and the consequences of creating and The development of charismatic leadership includes enhancing the organization's identity, strengthening the organization's competitive position, and enhancing the organization's special value. The results of the quantitative part also confirm the fit of the model and confirm its assumptions.
Conclusion: To get out of the dark aspects of charismatic leadership, only commitment to moral values can be the way forward, which undoubtedly brings positive consequences for the organization.
