Educational Ethics of Faculty Members & Its Relationship with Students' Satisfaction with Education

Background: One of the main factors that play an effective role in creating student satisfaction in education is the observance of educational ethics standards by faculty members. Understanding this important, the present study was conducted to investigate the status of educational ethics of faculty members and its relationship with student education satisfaction.
Method: The research method is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population includes all students of Farhangian Imam Khomeini University in Gorgan. 294 students were selected using stratified random sampling. Two standard questionnaires of educational ethics and satisfaction with education were used to collect research data. Research data were collected using one-sample t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis in SPSS22 statistical software.
Results: The results of the study showed that the status of observance of educational ethics standards by faculty members is in a good condition. It was also found that there is a positive and significant relationship between the educational ethics of faculty members and students' satisfaction with education.
Conclusion: As a result, observance of educational ethics standards by faculty members can play an important role in increasing student satisfaction.
